Philosophy

The flavours of Mexico at the heart of everything

Our philosophy

True to tradition

Masa Taqueria brings authentic Mexican street food to Hội An, staying true to traditional recipes, techniques and ingredients.

From freshly pressed corn tortillas made with Mexican masa harina to carefully sourced chillies and spices, we focus on keeping the flavours of Mexico at the heart of everything we make.

Journey

From the masa to the plate

  1. The masa

100% Mexican masa harina, the corn flour every Mexican tortilla starts from.

  2. The press

Tortillas pressed in the house every day, and gluten-free, so every taco starts warm.

  3. The filling

Traditional recipes: achiote-marinated al pastor, beef slow-cooked with Mexican dried chillies, mole negro, nopales.

  4. The finish

Salsa roja or verde, pico de gallo, queso fresco, a wedge of lime, and the chillies on the menu to tell you the heat.

Culinary approach

Share it, and ask us what's what

Mexican food is food for sharing: a basket of totopos with guacamole, a ceviche of mahi mahi and prawns, aguachiles that bring real heat, then tacos for the table.

We're proud of Mexican food and its traditions and we love explaining them: if you don't know a tinga from a barbacoa, ask us, it's half the fun.
